Obamacare is unconstitutional - The US constitution allows for the federal government to have control over certain enumerated powers, all else goes back to the states and local governments. Healthcare isn't mentioned in the constitution and it should go back to the states.
We should have no socialized healthcare at the federal level. Its also not constitional for those without insurance to be forced to buy it or to pay a fine because they didn't. The Surpreme Court allowed it but shouldn't have.
As a matter of face Education is also something the federal government should have no part in.
Healthcare Ideas
- Need to change how we cover people Watch the video
- Preexisting conditions it sounds good but what about people that haven't had health insurance for 20 years and develop some type of disease? Now they are covered becaus ethey are sick? What about you paying for insurance for 20 years and they didn't?
- Force price controls on perscription drugs - The US is the largest manufacturer of new drugs mostly because the almighty dollar drives the desire to create new drugs
- Allow in end of life scenarios the ability for a patient to use an experimental drug that hasn't completed drug trials - gives them a chance
- Allow insurance plans to cross state lines and increase competition bringing down costs
- Allow the purchase of drugs from countries like Canada. - we do not control drug costs but other countries do
- Allow individuals to pool together and get breaks in costs due to volume of people in the plan.
- Reduce litigation to reduce costs. Stop rs. from VYA policies
